Morgan Schatmeyer
is an Atlanta-based actress, singer, and artist. She is currently pursuing a degree in Theatre with a concentration in Acting at Emory University.
During the spring semester of her sophomore year, she received conservatory training from the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA). She also studies film acting with Lon Bumgarner at his Film Scene Studio.
Recent credits include Alice Murphy in Bright Star (Theatre Emory), Audrey in Little
Shop of Horrors (Theatre Emory), The Woman in The Other Shore (Theatre Emory), Cleopatra in Antony and Cleopatra (LAMDA), Charlotte in The Real Thing (LAMDA), and Ashlee in Dance Nation (Emory University).
She will next appear as May in Fool for
Love, produced by Theatre Emory this November.
Morgan is a passionate artist drawn to larger-than-life characters, inspired by growing up in a family full of them.
Outside of acting, she serves as a campus ambassador intern for
NEON, promoting the studio's film slate across Emory University's campus, and is the
Vice President of Rathskellar, Emory's student-run improv group.
